Amtrak West Phase I

MRS installed wayside signal system equipment along a 35-mile segment of Amtrak’s west rail line, spanning from Kalamazoo to Porter. The project involved upgrading 9 intermediate signals and 1 electric lock location, which required deploying new signal cabling, fiber network cabling, and enhancements to existing fiber optic infrastructure. Additionally, we installed new signal houses and signals. MRS also conducted thorough fiber optic testing and collaborated closely with the prime contractor and owner to ensure successful cutover testing and system integration.
