Overview
50th Street Station marks a significant addition as the first new station on Valley Metro’s existing 26-mile light rail corridor. This modern dual-platform station was designed to provide convenient access to Ability360, a Center for Independent Living that is operated by and serves people with disabilities.
Scope of Work
Modern Railway Systems (MRS) designed, furnished, installed, and tested the new communications system for the station.
Impact
The system provides state-of-the-art connectivity and accessibility, creating a safer and more inclusive experience for all passengers.
