Looking Ahead

As we begin 2026, we take a moment to reflect on the progress, partnerships, and projects that defined 2025, as well as the work ahead for the year to come. 

Last year at Modern Railway Systems (MRS) was marked by meaningful achievements, from major project completions to important milestones across the country. We delivered the Windsor Extension and Petaluma North Station Platform for Sonoma-Marin Area Rail Transit (SMART), along with the Downtown Redmond Link Extension and Federal Way Extension for Sound Transit. 

Looking ahead, several projects are already gaining momentum in 2026, including the G Line BRT, On Call Services for DART, UTA, and CATS, the East San Fernando Valley Light Rail project, Metra 16th Street, and more. 

None of this would have been possible without the dedication of our team and the continued trust of our clients and partners. We are grateful for the collaboration, commitment, and hard work that defined 2025, and we look forward to building on this momentum in the year ahead.
