Austin Transit Partnership Selects Contractor to Help Build Austin Light Rail
The news is out!
Austin Transit Partnership, the local government corporation delivering Austin’s first light rail system, has selected Austin Rail Constructors (ARC) as the construction contractor for Austin Light Rail, marking another major milestone toward the start of construction in 2027.
ARC is a team of 27 firms, with 70% located or based in Texas, and will continue to grow by engaging local talent and businesses.
We are ready to work alongside our local partners to deliver an efficient, cost-effective progressive design-build process that creates meaningful economic and mobility benefits for the Austin metro area.
We are excited to be part of the team helping bring light rail to Austin.
